Since joining VSA, I’ve not only reshaped my body, but I’ve completely transformed my mindset. I’ve learned to show up for myself, even on the tough days. VSA didn’t just give me a plan; it gave me a community of like-minded, supportive, and inspiring people who challenge me, believe in me, and remind me of my own strength.
The Moment Everything Changed: My Vegan Superhero Journey
Have you ever woken up, looked in the mirror, and thought, "It’s time for a real change?" Me too. Many times. But the moment that truly changed everything for me happened in January 2024.
I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life, carrying not just the extra pounds but also the emotional weight that came with it, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, fear of taking up space, and never truly feeling worthy or empowered. Once again, I found myself wanting to lose weight, but I’d been here before. I had tried and failed countless times. Keto, gluten-free, paleo, nothing ever stuck.
Since going vegan in 2019, my health had improved in many ways. My skin cleared up, my eczema and psoriasis disappeared, and I felt better in some respects. But despite all that, I was still significantly overweight. At my heaviest, I was 295 lbs, and I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. On top of that, life had been overwhelming. Between loss, moving across the country, and navigating a global pandemic, I felt depressed, isolated, and craving a sense of community.
Consistency had always been my biggest struggle. I’d have months of discipline, only to fall off track one day and never find my way back. It became a vicious cycle. In 2020, I managed to lose weight on my own, but slowly, my old habits crept back in, and most of the weight returned. I was frustrated with myself. Why couldn’t I just stick with something I wanted so badly?
Determined to try again, I started looking for a new approach. A couple of weeks later, I stumbled upon the Vegan Superhero Academy. From the outside, it looked amazing, but I had doubts. Did I really need a coach? What if I invested my time and money into this program, only to quit like I always did? But deep down, something told me to take the chance, and I’m so grateful I listened.
When I joined VSA, I made a promise to myself that I was going to start showing up as the woman I wanted to become. Of course, that didn’t happen overnight, but I embraced a "fake it till you make it" mentality, and it worked.
After just a month in the program, I started losing weight, interacting with the community, and documenting my journey with daily consistency posts. It felt uncomfortable at first. It was unlike anything I had ever done before, but I pushed through the discomfort, curious to see where it would lead.
Fast forward to today, and I no longer have to fake it. I’ve done the work, put in the effort, and the transformation I’ve experienced is beyond what I thought was possible. While my physical progress and weight loss are incredible achievements, I can confidently say that’s the least interesting part of my story.
My routines have completely shifted. I prioritize movement, fuel my body with intention rather than guilt, and most importantly, I’ve built consistency in ways I never thought possible.
One of my biggest mindset shifts has been understanding that discipline isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up even when motivation isn’t there. I no longer see setbacks as failures but as part of the process. My approach to nutrition has gone from restriction to balance, and training has become something I genuinely enjoy rather than a punishment for what I ate. Most importantly, I’ve learned that self-discipline is an act of self-respect.
A major personal growth moment for me was realizing that I am capable of finishing what I start. In the past, I struggled with follow-through, but now, I trust myself to commit and succeed.
One of my biggest physical wins since joining was running a half marathon, something I never thought I’d be able to do. Before VSA, I had never even been able to run a mile. Over the past year, I’ve completed multiple 5Ks, conquered a Tough Mudder, and tackled challenges I once believed were impossible.
Of course, the journey hasn’t always been easy. Anyone who has embarked on a weight loss or strength journey knows there are tough moments, days when you want to quit, and times when old habits creep back in. But that’s where the beauty of having a coach and a community comes into play. When I’ve struggled, faced self-doubt, or felt like giving up, I’ve leaned on the VSA community. They’ve reminded me to keep going, trust the process, and celebrate even the smallest wins.
I’m committed to pushing beyond the limits I once thought were impossible. Physically, my next goals include running a full-length marathon, building even more strength, and taking on a longer Tough Mudder endurance event. Mentally, I’m focused on becoming more adaptable and resilient while continuing to grow into someone who exudes confidence and inspires and uplifts those around me, making others feel seen, valued, and happy.
Thanks to the Vegan Superhero Academy, my coach, and the community within, I find myself no longer being so afraid anymore. It has completely impacted my life in the most positive way you can imagine. For anyone considering VSA, my advice is this: just start. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be consistent. The support, the knowledge, and the growth you’ll experience are worth it. It’s truly life-changing.

I am so thankful I decided to join VSA, and I know the lessons I have learned will stay with me for the rest of my life. My journey is not over, but I am confident in the path I am on and the tools I have gained to continue moving forward.
From Struggle to Strength: How VSA Transformed My Health and Confidence
Hi, my name is Brooke, and I want to share my personal journey that led me to join the Vegan Superhero Academy program. It has been a transformative experience, and I hope my story inspires you to take the leap toward your own health and fitness goals.
About five and a half years ago, I made the decision to go vegan. At the time, I was seventy pounds overweight, having gained that weight after having four children. I was feeling physically and mentally drained, and I knew I needed a change. Going plant-based was something I felt called to try, and the results were incredible. I lost seventy pounds and kept it off for four years.
Everything seemed to be going well, but as I hit my mid-thirties, things started to change. Within a year, I gained fifteen pounds, and I felt like my body was spiraling out of control. The fear of returning to where I had started was overwhelming. I tried to seek help but struggled to find anyone who understood my plant-based lifestyle, especially living in the South where veganism is far from common.
I spoke to coaches at gyms and even joined CrossFit, but no one could offer the guidance I needed. Feeling lost and unsure of what to do, I turned to my husband for support. After doing some research, he discovered the VSA program and suggested we look into it.
When we got on the initial call with a VSA coach, I immediately felt a connection. The program offered everything I had been searching for, coaching, community, and support tailored to my plant-based lifestyle. My husband, who has never struggled with his weight and has always been incredibly fit, was so impressed that he decided to join with me. Having him by my side on this journey has been an incredible source of support.
Before joining, I had felt so alone in my struggles. I needed someone who understood the challenges of being plant-based and could help me navigate my hormonal changes, my fitness plateau, and my frustrations. The VSA program provided exactly that.
I will admit, I was skeptical at first. I had tried countless programs in the past, and I always felt like the one person they did not work for. The financial commitment also gave me pause, but after speaking with the team, I realized this was more than just a program, it was a complete solution to the challenges I had been facing.
What impressed me most was the emphasis on long-term success. The coaches made it clear that the goal was to equip me with tools and knowledge so I could eventually succeed on my own. That promise gave me the confidence to take the leap.
The VSA program has truly changed my life. One of the pivotal moments for me was a conversation with my coach, Megan, about my eating habits. For twenty years, I had been obsessively counting calories and adjusting my intake based on how many calories I burned during workouts. Megan helped me understand that my body thrives on consistency, and that mindset shift completely transformed how I approached food.
Early on, I lost five pounds but then hit a plateau. Having the support and accountability of the VSA community kept me motivated, and with Megan’s guidance, I pushed through the challenges. Over time, I learned to listen to my body and practice intuitive eating, which has been incredibly freeing.
In the gym, I have seen strength gains I never thought possible. I went from struggling to back squat seventy pounds to lifting nearly two hundred and fifty pounds. Those moments of growth have been empowering, and they remind me of my high school days when I felt strong and athletic.
After completing my initial three months in the program, I decided to commit to a full year. The progress I have made, physically, mentally, and emotionally, has been worth every penny and every moment of effort. I am more confident, stronger, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is the importance of investing in myself. Taking the time and resources to focus on my health has allowed me to be a better wife, mother, and friend. As my coach reminded me, sometimes it is okay to rest and give yourself grace. That balance has made all the difference.
If you are considering joining the VSA program, my advice is simple, do it. Investing in yourself now will save you from larger challenges down the road. The support, tools, and community you will gain are invaluable, and the program is designed to help you become self-sufficient in your journey.
Hard things help us grow, and the VSA program is an opportunity to stretch yourself and discover what you are truly capable of. Take that first step, and you will not regret it.
I am so thankful I decided to join VSA, and I know the lessons I have learned will stay with me for the rest of my life. My journey is not over, but I am confident in the path I am on and the tools I have gained to continue moving forward.
To anyone reading this, I encourage you to invest in yourself and let your own journey begin. You are worth it.

For years, I struggled with my weight and self-esteem. I spent almost a decade trying to lose weight on my own but failed repeatedly due to a lack of consistency and knowledge. For the first time, I feel strong, capable, and genuinely happy with my progress and lifestyle choices.
My Journey to becoming a Vegan Superhero
When I first met my boyfriend, Matt, I barely knew what veganism was. One of the first times he came to my apartment, I set up a charcuterie board with crackers, cheese, and other snacks, thinking I was being a good host. He graciously explained that he doesn’t eat dairy, and I was absolutely mortified. It became a running joke between us, but looking back, it was a pivotal moment in my journey.
I never felt any pressure from Matt to go vegan. He’s one of the most patient people I know, and he simply planted little seeds over time, sharing information about health, the environment, and animal ethics. At first, I was defensive, but as we had more conversations, I started opening my mind.
Fast forward to January 2024. Matt and I watched a couple of documentaries on Netflix, including What the Health. Afterward, I couldn’t ignore the information anymore. I went to the kitchen and started throwing out all the animal products in my fridge and pantry. It was a dramatic moment, but I was done. From that day on, I committed to going vegan.
Finding My Way to The Vegan Gym
When I first became vegan, I was overwhelmed. I wanted to learn how to cook vegan meals and stay consistent with my health goals. That’s when I stumbled upon The Vegan Gym YouTube channel. I started watching meal prep videos by Leif and was inspired by the simplicity and practicality of his approach.
A few months later, I decided to join The Vegan Gym and work with Coach Tiana. From the very first conversation, I felt like I belonged.
“Joining The Vegan Gym was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”
Joining The Vegan Gym was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. For years, I struggled with my weight and self-esteem. I had always been told I was either “too skinny” or “too heavy,” and it felt like I was never good enough. I spent almost a decade trying to lose weight on my own but failed repeatedly due to a lack of consistency and knowledge.
Working with Coach Tiana was a game-changer. Having a support system is key, for me, Tiana has been that person. She’s not just my coach, she’s my cheerleader, my guide, and my friend. With her guidance, I’ve lost nearly 30 pounds, improved my blood work, and gained confidence. For the first time, I feel strong, capable, and genuinely happy with my progress and lifestyle choices.
Embracing the Ripple Effect
This is just the beginning of my journey, and I’m thrilled to continue improving my health, spreading the message of veganism, and inspiring others to embrace positive change. The Vegan Gym has been an incredible part of my transformation, providing the tools, support, and guidance I needed to succeed.
Every small step I’ve taken with the help of my amazing coach and the Vegan Gym community has created a ripple effect in my life and the lives of those around me. People have taken interest in my progress and ask me for advice on how they could improve their health. It’s amazing to see how this journey has inspired others to start their own paths toward health and compassion.

Struggling with chronic pain and weight gain, I turned to the Vegan Superhero Academy. A year later, I’m pain-free, stronger than ever, and living a life I never thought possible.
Is the Vegan Superhero Academy Worth the Cost? It’s Worth Every Cent.
A year ago, my life felt like it was slipping through my fingers. I was constantly in pain, so much so that my husband had to push me in a wheelchair just to get through the mall. Every day felt like a struggle, and I couldn’t imagine how I was going to live the rest of my life that way. I had tried everything: fad diets, doctor-recommended meal plans, even eating only meat at one point because I was told it was the only thing my body could tolerate. Nothing worked. I felt stuck, lost, and exhausted.
In October 2022, I decided to go vegan. I was desperate for a change, but I had no idea what I was doing. My meals were a chaotic mix of carbs, and I had no clue how to get the protein and nutrients I needed. A simple Google search led me to The Vegan Superhero Academy, and I can confidently say it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
At first, I was hesitant. The cost made me pause, but I decided to take a chance because I was ready to invest in myself. Now, I can’t believe how much my life has changed. In my first three months, I lost over 20 pounds, and my chronic pain, once an unbearable 8-10 on the pain scale, dropped to a manageable 2-4. And it wasn’t just the physical changes. For the first time in my life, I had a coach who truly listened to me, supported me, and helped me build the confidence and clarity I needed to thrive.
Working with Coach Brian has been nothing short of life-changing. From day one, he made me feel seen and understood. He helped me fine-tune my diet so I could get the right balance of protein and calories, and he was always just a message away with advice, encouragement, or even help with restaurant menus when I wasn’t sure what to order. When I faced family stress, he not only helped me navigate it but gave me the tools to grow emotionally and mentally stronger.
Today, I’ve lost nearly 30 pounds, and I’m stronger and healthier than I’ve ever been. I can do things I never thought possible, like running three miles or walking 24,000 steps a day, and wake up the next morning feeling great. The wheelchair is long gone, and so is the constant pain that used to define my life. I finally feel free.
Beyond the physical transformation, the community at VSA has been incredible. The team calls, program calls, and connections with other members have made me feel like I’m part of something bigger. We share ideas, celebrate wins, and support each other through challenges. It’s the kind of encouragement I didn’t know I needed, and it’s made all the difference.
I can’t recommend VSA enough. It’s not just about learning how to eat better or work out; it’s about becoming the best version of yourself. It’s an investment, yes, but it’s the greatest gift you can give yourself. I’m so grateful for this journey, and I know you will be too.

Before joining the Vegan Superhero Academy, I felt lost and unsure of myself. I wanted to feel strong and confident but didn’t know where to start. Fast forward a few months, and I’m living with a sense of purpose, energy, and empowerment that I never thought possible. My journey with VSA has transformed not just my body, but my entire outlook on life. Read on to see how I went from self-doubt to unstoppable. - Noor
My authentic experience with the Vegan Superhero Academy.
At the start of my journey, I set up a vision board with a picture of this fit, confident woman, someone who looked powerful, with a kind of energy that felt unreachable for me. I wasn’t sure I’d ever look like her, but she represented everything I wanted to become. As I worked through the weeks in the Academy, pouring my energy into every workout, every meal prep, and every mindset shift, something incredible happened.
I began to feel empowered, bit by bit, like I was reclaiming parts of myself I hadn’t seen in years. And one day, I looked in the mirror and saw her, the woman on my vision board staring back at me. I couldn’t believe it. I had become that woman, not just physically but in the way I carried myself and the confidence I felt inside. It was as if I’d unlocked something I always had but just didn’t know how to reach.
My goals when I started were ambitious, and honestly, I had doubts. I wanted to reach 20% body fat and do an unassisted chin-up, a single chin-up felt like a huge milestone. But I kept showing up, pushing a little further each day, and the results shocked me. I didn’t just meet those goals; I went beyond them.
My DEXA scan showed 15.4% body fat, and I could now do two unassisted chin-ups. I still remember the feeling of hanging there after that second chin-up, realizing what I had just done. I felt unstoppable, like I had tapped into a well of strength that would carry me through anything.
One of the biggest lessons I learned was about accountability. Before this, I thought that if I wanted something badly enough, I’d find a way to make it happen on my own. But having someone there, my coach, the community, and the support I found in the Academy, made all the difference. There’s something powerful about knowing that someone else believes in you, someone to check in, cheer you on, and remind you that you’re capable, especially on days when you don’t feel like it. That accountability became the fuel for my progress, pushing me to show up, not just for myself but for this journey I’d committed to.
Even when I traveled, I kept my commitment. I remember packing for a trip to Yellowstone and filling my suitcase with everything I’d need to stay on track, plant-based meals, my food scale, resistance bands. The old me might have seen this as too much effort, but now, it felt natural. I wanted to keep going, to stay connected to this journey no matter where I was. I was driven by this newfound energy and purpose, a reminder of how far I’d come and where I was headed.
It wasn’t just about the physical changes. There was a shift in my everyday life too. I started to love meal prepping, experimenting with flavors and recipes that made me excited to eat healthy. One Sunday, I prepped pumpkin oatmeal and mini muffins, and it felt more like a celebration than a chore. I had created a lifestyle that fed my body and spirit, something sustainable and deeply fulfilling. This wasn’t a temporary fix; it was a way of life that gave me energy, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment with each choice I made.
I found joy even in the challenging moments. After a tough leg day, my legs would feel like jello, and while it was hard, I felt alive. Every ache, every push was a reminder that I was becoming stronger, both physically and mentally. I embraced the process, knowing that each step was bringing me closer to the woman I wanted to be. I started to believe that I was capable of anything, and that mindset carried into every area of my life.
Looking back, I realize I’ve transformed in ways I never anticipated. I went from doubting myself to feeling empowered, from uncertain and hesitant to confident and full of purpose.
For anyone who’s in the place I was, feeling lost, stuck, or unsure of what’s possible, I want you to know that there is a path forward. It’s not about quick fixes or surface-level changes. It’s about digging deep, finding your strength, and building a life that reflects who you truly are. I’m so grateful for the journey that got me here, and I’m proud to say that I’m living as the best version of myself.

I struggled with my weight for years and even battled breast cancer. In just 90 days, the Vegan Superhero Academy helped me lose 24 pounds, improve my health, and feel confident, strong, and energized again. Here’s my story.
I Reclaimed My Life with the Vegan Superhero Academy
I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life. I was the person who jumped from one fad diet to the next, losing 20 pounds only to gain it all back once the diet was over. Deep down, I knew none of it was sustainable, but I didn’t know how else to manage my health. Then in 2018, my world turned upside down. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. It wasn’t genetic, it was a direct reflection of my diet and lifestyle. I’d spent most of my life eating red meat, heavy carbs, fried everything, and processed foods. It all finally caught up to me.
After my cancer treatment, my doctor encouraged me to try a whole-food, plant-based diet to support my healing. I remember thinking, “You’re asking me to give up meat and dairy overnight? Impossible.” But as daunting as it seemed, I decided to give it a try.
That’s when I discovered the Vegan Gym on Instagram. Anders reached out to me and started asking questions, questions that made me reflect deeply on my diet, my lifestyle, and my goals. Where did I want to be in 90 days? The conversation lit a spark in me. For the first time, I felt excited to push myself, to test my limits, and to hold myself accountable. My three main goals were simple but powerful: run a mile in 10 minutes, lose 20 pounds of fat, and bring my cholesterol under 200. I was ready to see what I was truly capable of.
Fast forward 90 days, and I’m in complete disbelief at what I’ve accomplished. I lost 24 pounds of fat. My cholesterol is under 200 for the first time in years. And I can run a mile in 10 minutes, something I never thought I could do. My body has transformed in ways I didn’t think were possible. I’ve lost inches across my chest, waist, hips, thighs, and arms. But the most profound transformation has been how I feel about myself. I feel strong, capable, and confident in my own skin.
The program didn’t just change how I look, it changed how I live. For 90 days, I lived, ate, and breathed the Vegan Superhero Academy. From the yoga sessions to Leif’s workshops and the supportive community, every aspect of the program felt like it was designed just for me. The coaches weren’t just doing their jobs; they made it their mission to see me succeed. Anders listened to every concern I had and came back with thoughtful solutions that showed me how much he truly cared. It wasn’t just about hitting my goals, it was about building a lifestyle I could maintain for years to come.
One of the most surprising parts of this journey was rediscovering my love for food. I used to think eating healthy meant giving up everything I loved, but the Academy taught me how to nourish my body with vibrant, delicious, nutrient-rich meals. Meal prepping became a joy, not a chore, as I learned to create meals that fueled my body and soul. Even when I look back at my toughest moments, like balancing my new habits with work, family, and life, I wouldn’t change a thing.
I proved to myself that I’m capable of more than I ever imagined.
To anyone feeling stuck, unsure, or afraid to take that first step, I want you to know it’s possible to change your life. I was right where you are, feeling lost, frustrated, and scared. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t have to do it alone. The support, knowledge, and encouragement I found in the Vegan Superhero Academy didn’t just help me reach my goals, they helped me find a sense of purpose and strength I never knew I had.
This journey has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It’s not just about losing weight or hitting numbers on a scale; it’s about becoming the best version of yourself from the inside out. I’m forever grateful to the VSA coaches and community for guiding me through this transformation and showing me what’s possible when you commit to yourself.

At 65, I transformed my health, strength, and mindset with the Vegan Superhero Academy. Through strength training, plant-based nutrition, and supportive coaching, I feel stronger and healthier than ever.
How I Found Strength, Confidence, and Clarity with the Vegan Superhero Academy
Fifteen months. That’s how long I’ve been with the Vegan Superhero Academy, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I initially joined for the 90-day program, but the impact it had on me, physically, emotionally, and mentally, was so profound that I decided to stay for another 12 months. It wasn’t just about weight loss or nutrition; it was about becoming the healthiest and most confident version of myself, inside and out.
Before joining VSA, I was stuck in a routine that wasn’t serving me. I’ve always been into cardio, I could do it seven days a week without a problem. But strength training? That felt like an entirely different world. I avoided it because I didn’t know where to start, and honestly, I didn’t think it was necessary. Then I had a bone density scan, and the results weren’t what I wanted to see. Being over 65, I realized that building strength was not just important, it was essential for my long-term health.
At the same time, I was on my journey to becoming fully vegan. I’d been about 90% vegan, but I wanted to take that final step and feel confident that I was getting the right balance of nutrients and eating in a way that truly nourished my body. Those two factors, improving my bone health and solidifying my plant-based lifestyle, are what led me to VSA. It felt like the perfect place to help me get on track and build the foundation I needed for the rest of my life.
Once I joined, everything started to click. The meal plans were incredibly balanced, leaving me feeling full and satisfied while also helping me get leaner and stronger. I wasn’t just eating to lose weight, I was eating to fuel my body in a way that made me feel good. And the strength training? It quickly became something I looked forward to. Watching my muscles develop, feeling stronger with each workout, it gave me a sense of empowerment I hadn’t felt before.
For the first time, I wasn’t just going through the motions of a workout; I was building a routine that made me feel capable and confident. I could see the changes in my body and feel the shifts in my energy levels, but more than that, I was developing a healthier mindset. The program challenged me to address my fears, worries, and even how I communicate with myself and others. It wasn’t just about the physical transformation; it was about creating a positive, sustainable way of living.
One of the things I’ve appreciated most about this program is how supported I’ve felt throughout. I could be my authentic self with my coach, which made a huge difference in how I approached my goals. The coaches at VSA are incredibly knowledgeable, and their guidance has been invaluable. They truly care about your success, and their encouragement is what kept me going on the tougher days. I never felt alone in this process. Every question I had was met with thoughtful answers, and every challenge was met with a solution.
Another standout aspect of the program was the meal planning. It wasn’t about deprivation or bland foods, it was about nourishing my body with delicious, nutrient-packed meals that were easy to stick with. I never felt starving or restricted, and that made the journey so much more enjoyable.
Now, after 15 months, I feel like I’m living proof of what’s possible when you put yourself first. I’m stronger, healthier, and more confident than I’ve ever been. I’ve seen results I didn’t think were possible at this stage in my life. And what’s more, I’ve built habits that I know will carry me forward for years to come.
If you want to live better, feel stronger, and approach life with more positivity, there’s no better place to start than the Vegan Superhero Academy.
You’ll see results, but more importantly, you’ll feel supported every step of the way. You won’t be alone in this journey. You’ll have a team of people cheering you on and giving you the tools you need to succeed.
Joining this program was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself, and I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and gained along the way. Strength, confidence, clarity, it’s all possible, and it’s all within reach.

At 74, I stepped into the Vegan Superhero Academy unsure of what to expect. Fifteen months later, my bloodwork is healthy, my strength has grown, and my confidence is higher than ever. Here’s how VSA changed my life and helped me thrive.
I Found Strength and Clarity at 74 with the Vegan Superhero Academy
When I first joined the Vegan Superhero Academy, I’ll admit I was nervous. At 74 years young, stepping into something that seemed so rigorous felt a bit intimidating. But I also knew that if I wanted to live a healthier, more fulfilling life, I had to take responsibility for my health. So, I decided to trust the process, and looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
For years, I struggled with balancing my health and the desire to feel good in my own skin.
I’ve always cared about how I presented myself, but my focus was often more on appearance than health. Over time, I realized the two go hand in hand. With a heart condition and a history of being on medications that left me dizzy and drained, I knew I needed a better way. That’s when I found VSA, and everything began to change.
The foundation of the program, whole food plant-based eating, was extraordinary for me. I had always been interested in veganism, flipping through countless books and resources, but I never felt like I had the full picture. VSA gave me exactly what I needed. The masterclasses, videos, and write-ups were treasures that made everything click. The program didn’t just tell me what to do; it showed me why, with evidence-based approaches that truly work.
One of my biggest breakthroughs was my relationship with food. Learning how to prepare vegan meals that are healthy but what really amazed me was how good it all tasted. Sweetening dishes with fruit and dates, focusing on plant-based proteins, and creating balanced meals that left me feeling full and satisfied, it was a game changer. And the results? Remarkable. My bloodwork transformed from pre-diabetic to healthy, normal levels. My cardiologist was so impressed that he started reducing my medications, even removing the drugs that once made me feel dizzy. It was like I’d found a whole new way to live.
Another highlight of my journey was strength training. Before VSA, I had no idea how much I could enjoy building muscle and feeling stronger. I used to worry about whether I could keep up, but with the compassionate support of the coaches and community, I realized I was capable of so much more than I thought. My arms, legs, and stomach have grown stronger and firmer, and for the first time, I feel proud of what my body can do, not just how it looks.
Beyond the physical changes, this program has taught me so much about self-compassion and the importance of loving myself. I’ve always wanted to be someone others admire, but I now understand that starts with truly valuing myself. The warmth, support, and encouragement from the VSA community made all the difference. They didn’t just help me reach my goals; they made me feel seen, heard, and celebrated for who I am.
Today, I feel strong, confident, and energized in a way I didn’t think was possible at my age. VSA has given me the tools and knowledge to live a healthy, vibrant life, and for that, I’m forever grateful. To anyone who feels hesitant, I want you to know it’s never too late to prioritize your health and happiness. If I can do it, so can you.

I joined the Vegan Superhero Academy as a newer vegan and left feeling stronger, healthier, and more confident than ever. From strength training to navigating menopause, this journey changed my life.
Finding My Inner Strength with the Vegan Superhero Academy
When I first came across the Vegan Superhero Academy, I was a newer vegan, still trying to figure out how to get the right balance in my diet, and I certainly didn’t consider myself an athlete. The idea of joining a program like this felt intimidating. But something in me knew it was time to take a leap, time to prioritize myself and figure out how to navigate the changes I was experiencing in my body and life.
What I found at VSA was so much more than a fitness program. It was a safe space where I could grow, learn, and challenge myself in ways I never expected.
From the very first interaction, my coach made me feel welcome and supported. They weren’t just knowledgeable about vegan health and fitness, they were kind, approachable, and genuinely invested in my success.
One of my biggest challenges was managing the physical and emotional shifts that come with menopause. It’s not an easy stage of life, and for a while, I felt like I was just treading water, unsure of how to feel like myself again. Through the guidance of my coach and the resources at VSA, I started to feel empowered. I learned how to nourish my body in a way that supported my health and energy. The meal plans were practical and satisfying, showing me how to enjoy food without feeling deprived.
But the biggest transformation wasn’t just in what I ate, it was in how I moved. I’d always seen strength training as something “other people” did, but with my coach’s encouragement, I dove in. And wow, did it change everything. I discovered muscles I didn’t know I had and a strength I didn’t know I was capable of. It wasn’t about lifting the heaviest weights; it was about proving to myself that I could push past my own limits. Every time I flex my arm and see that bicep definition, I feel a surge of pride because I know how much work went into it.
Another unexpected joy was the sense of community I found. The VSA community is like a second family, people who truly get it and cheer you on every step of the way. We celebrate each other’s wins, but we also support each other through the challenges. Knowing I had that kind of encouragement made all the difference on days when self-doubt tried to creep in.
This journey has taught me so much about myself. It’s not just about looking good (although I won’t lie, I love the changes I see in the mirror!). It’s about feeling strong, capable, and confident in my own skin. I’ve learned that it’s never too late to invest in yourself, to take control of your health, and to discover what you’re truly capable of.
